For all of my adult career I have been in the business of helping others, often neglecting my needs or health. Started my professional career as a firefighter for a small local fire department. Not long after beginning the career, I knew I wanted to be able to help more. I quickly decided that I would attend paramedic school so that I could provide more for the community I was hired to protect. Let me tell you, paramedic school was no joke.
